At R.O.S. BUILT, we believe that every story of struggle has the potential to become a testimony of resilience. Founded in 2021, R.O.S. BUILT—short for Resilience Over Struggle—was created with a mission to use creative media as a tool to inspire, encourage, and point people toward Christ. Through R.O.S. BUILT Studios, what began as a passion for storytelling has grown into a creative studio specializing in documentary filmmaking, promotional content, interviews, podcasts, social media production, and faith-based media. Every project is approached with the belief that authentic stories have the power to transform lives and build meaningful connections.
Our vision extends beyond the camera. Through R.O.S. Built Barbershop, we embrace the rich tradition of the barber shop as a place where community is built, conversations matter, and lives are impacted. We see barbering as both a craft and a ministry—a space where confidence is restored, mentorship happens naturally, and relationships are strengthened. R.O.S. BUILT Barbershop creates meaningful experiences that connect people from all walks of life and encourage resilience through every season.

Meet the Founder
David Leon, MBA, draws from his diverse background as an educator, author, barber, and entrepreneur to build a platform that bridges faith with everyday life, helping people discover purpose while developing real-world skills. His work extends across youth mentorship, Bible studies, leadership development, and vocational training, creating opportunities for personal and spiritual growth. His professional background and leadership experience reflect a commitment to service, education, and community impact.
In 2021, David Leon founded R.O.S. BUILT Studios and R.O.S. BUILT Barbershop, a Christian-based film and barbershop company, to use art and haircuts to represent the love of Christ. “R.O.S.”, meaning “Resilience Over Struggle”, is not just a statement; it’s a movement. Through R.O.S. BUILT Studios, David Leon wants to help increase the number of followers of Christ.
Beyond his work as a founder, David is a YouTube content creator and teacher who uses digital media to share biblical insights, practical life lessons, and educational content with a growing audience. As an author and barber, he combines creativity, craftsmanship, and ministry to connect with people from all walks of life, believing that every profession can be a platform for serving others and advancing God's Kingdom. Through Servant Collective, his non-profit organization and ministry, David's mission is to inspire the next generation to lead with faith, integrity, and purpose while making a lasting difference in their communities.
